Les petits musiciens de Kharabat

The traditional Afghan music always occupies a core place in Afghanistan. Whether it is at the time of circumcisions, of marriages, during the Ramadan or private festivities, the music is always present. In Afghanistan, parents pass on the music to their children and more so in musician families. This communication of knowledge takes us to meet two brothers, Shoaibullah and Obaidullah, 13 and 14 years old that sing and play tabla and harmonium. Their father, a very kind man, stopped working to devote himself to his sons’ careers.
