Produire au Sud Recife

The first Produire au Sud Recife workshop will take place from 5 to 10 December 2022 in Recife. Fiction film projects from Brazil are eligible for this workshop. One of the projects will be selected from the Paradiso Talent Network – a group of professionals supported by the Projeto Paradiso Foundation, another will be from the North East of Brazil. The call for projects is open until 26 August 2022 and the selection will be announced on 30 September 2022.

Produire au Sud Nantes

The workshop takes place in Nantes from 21 to 26 November 2022 in parallel with the Festival des 3 Continents. Six fiction film projects in development from Africa, Latin America and Asia are selected. Registration for the Nantes 2022 workshop is open until 22 July 2022. The selected projects will be announced on 16 September 2022.

Produire au Sud Dharamshala

The workshop will be held in Dharamshala from 31 October to 4 November 2022 in conjunction with the Dharamshala International Film Festival (DIFF). Projects from the following countries are eligible for this workshop: India, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Tibet. Registration is open until 22 August 2022 and the selection will be announced on 15 September.

20-year expertise

Launched in 2000 by the Festival des 3 Continents, the Produire au Sud workshops have been training young professionals (directors and producers) from Africa, Latin America and Asia in the tools of international co-production for over 20 years. The workshops are currently held in Agadir (Morocco), Dharamsala (India), Durban (South Africa), Sderot (Israel), Taipei (Taiwan) and Nantes (France). They have proven themselves to be incubators for new talent.
