The film Good Manners by Juliana Rojas and Marco Dutra kicks off a series of screenings and debates organized by the Festival des 3 Continents and Cafe Prod in Nantes.
The film tells the story of a nurse from the suburbs of Sao Paulo in Brazil who is hired by the mysterious Ana as a nanny for her unborn child. Part fairy tale, part horror film, part romance, this film mixes genres and is as beautiful as it is terrifying. Its characters confront each other on all levels: social class, origins, religion and age, and question our present.
The Festival des 3 Continents launches a series of screenings and debates on the fight against racism and discrimination with Café Prod, an association that has been creating audiovisual works in the Bellevue district of Nantes since 2014.
This first session is sponsored by Cahiers du Cinéma and will be presented by Marcos Uzal, its editor-in-chief.
