As part of the Climat Libé Tour, to be held in Nantes on November 15 and 16, the Festival des 3 Continents is delighted to co-host with Libération and the Département de Loire-Atlantique the screening of the film La Fabrique des Pandémies, scheduled for Saturday November 16 at 6:30pm at Pathé Nantes, in the presence of director Marie-Monique Robin, investigative journalist and writer.

Dengue fever, Chikungunya, Covid-19, AIDS, Ebola: the number of previously unknown emerging diseases has exploded over the last forty years. Most of these are zoonoses, infectious diseases transmitted to humans by animals. In this groundbreaking documentary, actress Juliette Binoche sets out to understand the causes of this “epidemic of pandemics”. She meets scientists from all over the world to understand the links between human health and the health of ecosystems.

The screening will be followed by a debate and book signing with La Géothèque bookshop.
