From November 17th to 22nd, the Festival des 3 Continents will host the 24th edition of the training workshop on international co-production tools, Produire au Sud (PAS). Five producer/director pairs and their respective feature film projects will take part and benefit from the experience, teaching and on-going support of a group of experts, from development to the beginning of production.
This year, the selection committee received over 150 applications of feature film projects in development. The five selected projects come from Bangladesh, Brazil, India, Kazakhstan and Peru. It is particularly noteworthy to highlight that Kazakhstan had not been represented at PAS since the first workshop in 2000.
Over the course of six days, the ten participants will be offered collective sessions as well as individual consultations in the fields of production, script development, international sales and many more. They will conclude their week of training with a public pitch presentation, schedule for Thursday November 21 at the Cinématographe in Nantes.
