Ah-Chung lives with his unstable family in a shanty town next to a wildlife reservation zone. His mentally ill brother almost gets knocked over by a truck which intended to illegally dump waste there. To appease the gods and rid the family of bad luck and other mysterious miseries, Ah-Chung’s mother makes him join a religions performing troupe. He reluctantly does what is expected of him. Yet good luck and the gods are nowhere in sight and terrible tragedies occur.
