All Samba Bahia
(Bahia de todos os sambas)

A unique musical event took place from 23 to 31 August 1983, in the “circo massimo” in Caracala: music from Bahia took Rome over. Major singers from Bahia, together with 150 musicians, percussionists, capoeiristas and dancers performed over nine nights to an audience of over 100,000 people. This film is the capture of that great event. It also show rehearsals, the backstage activity, interviews and relaxed moments of great Brazilian musicians.
