Tokyo, today. A high-class residential district with tramways. Yoko is back after some time in Taiwan. She decides to visit a bookshop in Jimbocho, the second-hand bookshop area. The shop is run by Hajime, a quiet boy who likes to record the sound of trains going through the city. After her parents’ divorce, Yoko was raised by her uncle in Yubari, in northern Japan. Today, she gets in touch with her father and his new wife again…
