Carmen, owner of a store that serves as a depot for smugglers, is arrested by Police Sergeant José Navarro. She seduces him, and he becomes her lover and accomplice. Then she decides to leave him for Reverte, a famous bullfighter visiting Caracas. While Reverte fights the bull in the arena, José stabs Carmen in the audience.
