Chroniques sud-africaines

In 1985, the Varan association for film training organised a workshop on documentary filmmaking in Johannesburg, South Africa. Twelve young trainee filmmakers filmed their different communities and their country from the inside. The material is organised as a chronicle, propelled by the variety of subjects and perspectives. An authentic journey into the heart of apartheid that should be seen today so as to measure the long path still to be covered.
