Des briques et des rêves

Abdullah and Madi work in a brickyard among the adult workmen. Abdullah is thirteen years old and Madi is eleven years old. He is “luckier” than Abdullah; he goes to school and works only during his holydays. Abdullah is illiterate and comes from a very poor family. The brickyard is a strange place between sky and earth, a desert ofearth and ashes surrounded by old unused furnaces. Abdullah sees himself directing a brickyard and building a beautiful brick house. Madi has no boundaries; he wants to become rich!
