Starting from a heartfelt letter written by a young girl, fourteen filmmakers propose a fragmented and offbeat vision of contemporary Brazil and its youth. The story relates this diversity of images back to the different sources that flesh it out (history of Brazil, imaginary scenes or documentary images), orchestrating their interplay in a sort of choral ecstasy that shouts out the passion of youth, its restlessness and its desires.
Some of the filmmakers also have their films in the programme, while others are recent F3C award-winners, such as Clarissa Campolina and Helvécio Marins Jr, the directors of the film Girimunho (2011).
