As he leads his sheep along the new motorway which passes by his village, Ali, a young shepherd, finds a 200-dirham banknote. He sees this as a gift from heaven and imagines he too could go to the other side of the motorway and off to Casablanca. But he will soon have to confront the reality of his village…
