Di Cavalcanti

Glauber Rocha learnt the death of the painter Di Cavalcanti through the papers. He rushed to film the artist’s wake and funeral. Then he edited his film in a baroque and flamboyant way and added a very original sound track to it. Many consider “DiCavalcanti” one of Rocha’s greatest films.
