Extra-terrestrialswho have been sheltering on Earth for 30 years become an explosive international issue. Sequestered in District 9, their fate lies in the hands of the multinational, MNU, which is interested in their fantastic weaponry that only operates using extra-terrestrial DNA. Wikus, one of MNU’s field agents, catches a mysterious virus that causes his DNA to mutate. He thus becomes the most wanted individual. Repelled, isolated, unarmed and friendless, he has only one place left to hide : District 9.
