The film takes place in a typical Latin-american cabaret where chorous girls,
comedians, magicians and acrobats perform. The audience is shaped by the
working class, people from the dock, unemployed, characters from the underground. They all belong together to “the Neighborhood” place where their ambitions, frustrations and love take place. It’s just a common latinamerican people dance, dream, love and work to the beat of mambo.
Suddenly, everything changes : an alien invasion occurs. The country faces an unfair war. Mambo will never be the same again.
