In the brothel of a small village, Manuela, a transvestite, and “La Japonesita”, a young female prostitute who is the daughter Manuela once had with the now deceased “Japanese”, struggle to make a living. Don Alejo, the old master of the place, wants to buy out the brothel and resell it to a consortium, with the help of the village. When Pancho, a young truck driver and Don Alejo’s godson, returns to the village, tension increases between the protagonists.
