A film director cannot manage to find an idea for his next production. When a young engaged couple among his students suggest using the girl’s father, Haji Aqa, as the subject of his film, he accepts immediately. Haji Aqa, it turns out, detests cinema and is completely against his daughter and future son-in-law working in the film business. The director finds Haji Aqa chasing someone he believes has stolen his valuable watch. He lures him to the studios and films of every- thing Haji Aqa does. When Haji Aqa sees the film, he changes bis mind about films and agrees to the young couple continuing their work.
