Sunako is in love with Henry, yet he mixes with the wrong sort of people. Dora, Sunako’s girl-friend, wants to do something about it, but Sunako finds Henry with another woman, Yoko, in a church. She shoots at Yoko who gets injured. Sunako elopes with a painter who loves her, then prostitutes herself. Dora and Henry get married and visit Sunako. Both of them want to get Sunako out of her predicament. After a meeting with Yoko who wants to help her, Sunako decides to go away with her painter to lead a decent life and leave her past behind.
