Kukurantumi is a small village in Ghana. In the local dialect, it means “the place where everything is too heavy to pick up”. There’s nothing in this small village, so when Addey loses his job, he has no choice but to return to his previous work as a farmer, or try his luck in the city of Accra. With this decision, he gradually leaves behind the traditional lifestyle he knew and moves further and further away from “the place where everything is too heavy to pick up”.
