Hue is the son of Wan, a retired gangster nostalgic for his past. The young man is the leader of a gang and is in love with Chew Hung. But the father of the young woman décidés to marry her to the daughter of a local politician. Wan lends money to his son on the condition that he stop seeing Chew Hung. But Hue décidés to run away with her. When Chew Hung ‘s father hears the news, he is furious and arrives in Taipei with a group of gangsters seeking revenge. In a violent fight, Wan is mortally wounded.
