A boy, Toguldur, has left his home after his father’s death, as he did not like his mother bringing another man into his home. The boy joins a group of homeless boys and begin to work for some burglars. Using a rope, he climbs down the wall from the roof of a high rise apartment and breaks into a room to unlock the door to let the burglars in. He wants to erect a tomb for his father with the money he gets for assisting the criminals, but he knows he is doing something bad. One day he meets a kind old man and becomes attached to him. When the old man learns that the boy is involved in theft, be takes him to a Lamaist temple to consult a priest and tried to teach some religion to Toguldur. Listening to the old man’s story about beautiful scenes and animais in the province where he was from, the boys begins to hope to be adopted by the old man and go to such a province. However, the burglars do not allow the boy to leave freely. When summoned by the thieves, Toguldur decides to make this his last job. He sneaks into a rich family apartment during their absence…
