A father disappears at the birth of his child Eduardo. Now a charming young man, Eduardo is cherished by his mother and he promises a brillant future in medicine. He falls in love with Maria, but his mother opposes to their marriage for some mysterious reason. Nevertheless, Eduardo begins to discover the grim reality.
