Djafar, a government employee on bis way to a new mission in the South of the country meets a young girl named «Golnaj» in a café. The region is controlled by bandits and, during one of their attacks, they capture Golnaj and make her a prisoner. She is forced to sing and dance in the cafés in order to earn her living. Djafar, sent to fight against the bandits, falls in love with Golnaj. He manages to suppress the bandits. However, they are afraid and run away to India. They return to Iran when they learn that the government has subdued the bandits.
