The story is set in the 13th century. A robber, the leader of a band of thieves, has a choice between settling down as a farmer with his wife or continuing with his violent profession. What choice will he finally make ? The past glory of his band has faded and the enemy becomes fiercer and fiercer. The robber must now face his destiny.
