A spa-town hotel in northern Argentina. Sixteen-year-old Amalia lives there with her divorced mother, Helena, who runs the establishment. She wanders around at will, from laundry room to swimming pool. She and her friend Josefina discuss love and religious callings. When a medical convention is held at the hotel, Helena attracts the attention of one of its attendees, Doctor Jano, but she is unaware that he inappropriately fondled Amalia during a street gathering. For her part, the upset teenager has decided to save the doctor from his sins… A film of exacerbated sensuality, with a strange and languorous atmosphere, a tale of good and evil, of an age where eroticism – often not recognised as such – becomes more pressing.
