The Wild River

The story unfold over ten years of trouble. Three men steer timber rafts on the Xiaoshui river. To avoid boredom and entertain their passions, they often quarrel, fight and drink. Fifty-something Pan Laowu is till a bachelor. Thirty years ago, he was in love with a girl. He talks about the memory of this love affair with regret.  During the years of trouble, he had been criticized and beaten without any reason. In spite of their quarrels, they help each other in difficult times.
