Mexico, 1953. Magdalena Cascorro and Nicolas Lobato are newlyweds. The husband turns out to be overly ambitions. He buys hotels, becomes a bigwig in real estate, and of course begins to cheat on his wife. Magdalena decides to kill her boredom by writing a novel in the form of a diary.. She decides to take revenge. She takes a lover and persuades him to kill her husband. Unfortunately, the murder attempt flops badly and Magdalena goes into a dépression. The years go by… Magdalena still writes about her romantic misadventures in her diary, flits from lover to lover, and still looks vainly fo ra way to eliminate her husband. In the meantime, Nicolas, who is being sought by the police for fraud and embezzlement, passes himself off as dead in a car accident. Ironically, his wife is accused of murder and is imprisoned. Can she satisfy her thirst for revenge now ?
