Rahman is the custodian for a company. His large family is expensive to support and he attempts to steal from the company. His pathetic and futile attempts to break open the company safe are filmed by his son, who is an amateur filmmaker. When the film is screened on television as a «cinéma vérité» documentary, Rahman looses his job and gradually falls apart.
