The eldest son, an executive at a computer company, is an exemplary city salaryman – he is hard-working, attentive and a bit of a perfectionist both in his business dealings and at home. He discovers that his hometown has been designated as one of the villages to be submerged when the new dam is built at the head of their valley, and so his parents, who have lived their whole life in the countryside, move up to the city to be with their son. These gentle country folks find life in the city difficult, and cannot adapt of the hectic pace and the claustrophobic dimensions of their high rise apartment. The eldest son decides to build his parents a house.
