Antonio Paredes, a gangster, returns to Mexico with his buddies Ricky, Romo, Chuck and Maggie, with the intention of leading a quiet life with his family. But problems come up when Antonio starts giving in to his nephews’ whims, particularly those of his widowed sister-in-law Isabel who asks him for a mink coat, among other things. With his niece Carito by his side, Antonio drives through a red light and creates a traffic jam because of his honest intention to drive back to a police man and be fined. While the gangster recovers from a fight started by Chano, Carito’s fiancé, Isabel and her children confront Antonio’s scorn for his brother Federico and mention the memory of their father who knew so well how to fix family feuds. Later, Antonio gets threatened by Teôfilo Garcia — the leader of a gang and Chano’s father — while Isabel enjoys a luxurious life at the expense of Antonio who falls in love with her.
