Afraid to Die
(Karakkaze yarô)

Ayoung Yakuza, Takeo Asahina, who had narrowly escaped being assassinated by a rival band, discreetly leaves prison. He meets a young girl, Yoshie, and rapes her. Yoshie becomes pregnant. Takeo tries in vain to have her get an abortion. Chased by the Sagara gang, he decides to leave Tokyo with her. Just before their departure when he is buying clothes for his unborn baby, he is shot down by the Sagara ‘s bullets.
