The Matrimony

Two young people fall in love, but are denied marriage by their families. In spite of a matchmaker’s attempt to patch things up, the young lovers are drawn apart. Their love affair becomes the object of village scandal when the young people refuse to give up their quest for a life together. They break with tradition, at a very high cost to themselves, their families, and the village as a whole.
