Mohammad-Ali, out of respect for traditional values, wants to clean and restore an aqueduct deprived of water ever since the drilling of a deep well. He hopes that the families who had left the village because of drought will return when the aqueduct is full again. But the difficulties he encounters are insurmountable and his plan turns out to be impossible.
