The Sacrifice

A small family lives in a village in a remote valley. The mother dies because a woman doctor made a mistake. As compensation, the doctor gives the family a goat. The young girl in the family establishes strong emotional ties with the doctor. When the baby falls ill too, the father, who has become suspicious of modern medicine, calls a mullah who cures sick people with prayers and asks for the goat to be sacrificed.
