Sanjar, like so many other teenagers in Tashkent, sails down the canal which crosses the city on a tyre tube. One day, he sees a fair-haired girl whom he falls instantly in love with and who changes his life. But this is a tough trial as Lena loves Timur. Lena will sacrifice her life for a kid but she will help Timur to become more generous. Mamura, a young country girl, meets Timur while he is visiting her village. Attracted by the young man’s kindness, she escapes to the town hoping to meet him again. But Lena’s death interrupts her search. Yet youth will overcome the ordeal: a smile and a few kind words wipe the sadness off her face and she is hopeful again…
This film is made up of three short stories with the same characters. Lt is dedicated to that special age—adolescence.
