Mendizabal is a professional criminal. He has to kill Rodolfo Külpe, a 35-year-old man who lives alone and about whom little is known. Mendizabal keeps an eye on his victim. Every day, Rudolf meets up with a young woman and child, they chat and then the woman is left alone. One evening, Mendizabal sees Rodolfo with a beautiful, heady blonde, Lucie. The next day, he goes into the apartment. His bosses are pressing him. He has to kill Rodolfo, but he’s no longer at home and neither Cecilia nor Laura know where he is. He’s lost track of him. His bosses release him from the contract. As Mendizabal prepares to leave, he sees a light in Rodolfo’s apartment. When he enters the apartment, a surprise awaits him. Nothing could have made him foresee such a course of events.
