The Frogs

In the half-light of dawn, Halil, dripping with mud, appears on the little stumbles into the little village square. He falls down dead, murdered. The frogs he has caught in the night jump out of his bag. His wife, Elmas, cries for justice, but, in fact, there will be no investigation. Life goes on for Elmas who tries to protect her independence : during the day she works in the rice paddies with her little boy and, at night, she goes to catch frogs with the other villagers.
