A television director is working on a programme about the history of cinema and preparing his first feature film. His wife is writing a thesis on the Mongol attack on Persia. But television sends him to Zahedan, deep in the Iranian desert, to run a television station… While the actors for his film are getting ready, he also has to prepare for his trip. Everything becomes blurred in his dreamy thoughts: his wife’s voice, his mission, his future film, the Mongols…
