During the seven years of the war, the Lebanese have taken responsibility for their most tribal regressions, released their grudge and frustration, established their ideological and religious divisions, reinforced their paranoia… and lost a whole generation of people who turned twenty during the war. Little Wars is a film about this lost generation — a mutilated generation. Does the film shy away from the front-line? The distance which lies in-between is the always uncertain area between madness and death, between what is experienced and what is fantasized.
