It’s been nearly eight years since Marcela Gomez’s family split apart. Her parents and younger sister migrated to the United States and she stayed in Cali, Colombia. While she builds up her family’s history using home movies sent by them through mail, Marcela wonders about the phenomenon of third world migrations to first world nations and the way these countries treat their immigrants.
