Nemesio, a government employee in Santiago, leads an apparently banal existence between his office and his mother with whom he lives. In private, however, he has a rich fantasy life inspired by the heroes of certain American television series with whom he identifies. The object of his daydreams is a very attractive colleague who accepts a date with him. But she does not show up. He goes to pieces and shuts himself up at home, giving up his work and career…
