Nilofar is a beautiful Afghan refugee in Pakistan. She marries Shapour, another Afghan living in Paris. But their marriage turns into a bitter emotional battleground when, after years spent in the USA, her father comes to join her. This low-budget film deftly shows how war can permanently change families, even if it only plays a small part in their lives.
