Suwisal is a successful, middle-aged executive with a melancholic personality and a penchant for forgetfulness. His fiancee reminds him daily of appointments, special occasions and routine things, but he is a reluctant husband-to-be and casually sees other women. A man disturbed by something deep and elusive, he tries to stay emotionally stable by suppressing his memories. But when he must serve on a jury at a murder trial, he spirals into the world he thought he had banished. He recognises the defendant as a woman he knew years ago, a woman with a past.
