A young psychopathic photographer sequesters two women, one after the other. As in Batch 81’ and Kisapmata, the reasons for submission and manipulation make their return in this adaptation of John Fowles’ first novel, The Collector, which had already been made into a film by William Wyler in 1965. The first feature-length Filipino film shot in video, the medium itself is an agent in this quasi in-camera film. JB
