Rabia is the princess of the kingdom of Balkh. She lives with her father, the king loved by his people, and her brother, Hares, a lazy and debauched man. They have nothing in common. For decades the kingdom has been at war with Asheerodin’s kingdom. During the final battle, the commander is killed. Baktazh, a gallant slave, becomes the new commander of the army of Balkh and wins the war. Rabia falls in love with him, but Hares is opposed to their marriage. After Hares has killed his father and taken over as king, Rabeie confronts him for her love and country’s sake. Hares kills her.
