Reyhaneh is a lonely woman, totally eut- off from her past, who returns to her home town to start a new life. She is forced to stay in the old family house in which her brother finds his sister’s presence unbearable and begins to make her life miserable in any way he can. Reyhaneh goes to with her sister, stay once she again but is treated as an unwelcome guest. Finally, Reyhaneh turns to her old aunt, who years ago wanted Reyhaneh to marry her cousin, Reza. Everything is prepared for a wedding after Reza returns from a trip but unforeseen circumstances thwart the young couple’s plans.
