SANTIAGO, THE STORY OF HIS NEW LIFE

Santiago, a 65-year-old widower and retired accountant, kept his wife’s memory alive. He brought up his three children: Irma Luz the eldest, Nereida very busy with her work and divorced and has one child, Jerry who is Santiago’s joy. Eddie, a drug addict, has turned to the Bible in search of a meaning to life. Santiago lives alone with his memories until he meets and falls in love with Angelina, who eludes his past but is full of life. One day, a sudden downpour gives Angelina the opportunity to take Santiago home with her. A tender relationship ensues. However, Santiago has caught pneumonia and is hospitalised. Meanwhile, a detective friend of his uncovers Angelina’s painful past. In the end, Jerry is happy, Eddie has overcome his past, and Santiago and Angelina begin a new life together.
