Seven on Seven

Inspired by Stanley Donen’s Hollywood musical comedy, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (1954), Seven on Seven reprises the main narrative theme. Ravi (Amitabh Bachchan) is the eldest of seven hillbilly brothers who have an aversion to water and are presented in one of the film’s songs as “the seven wonders of the world”. Ravi decides to take a wife but hides this small detail from the “lucky woman”, Indu (Hema Malini), when he brings her home. This is just the beginning… JB
