A Lebanese student in Moscow, Akram decides to go home for the summer holidays. On the eve of his departure, he hears about a dreadful explosion in Beirut on television, while he is having a party with his mates in his room. He goes to sleep and finds himself in bis childhood village in the countryside. He is in the middle of bis sleeping family on the roof of their bouse. But Akram wakes up in bis Moscow bedroom. He leaves for Beirut where he is going to catch up with his Lebanese friends whose destinies intertwine as the story develops. An enemy of violence, Akram yet lets himself involved into a series of events he thought he could stay away from.
